Leveraging Event Sourcing in Microservices
The world of software is currently dominated by microservices. With lots of tutorials and talks telling you how to build them, how big they should be and how they should communicate. The answer to the later usual being http or message queues. But these have their downsides not least of which is lack of atomicity between data and communication.
In this talk Mathew will talk about how event sourcing can be leveraged to provide communication between microservices. Where services subscribe and react to events generated by others. He will also discuss the advantages this approach brings such as solving atomicity problems, the ability to maintain history and how services can be easily integrated with data analytics and metrics.
